Brooklyn
|
Location: Huntsville Friends of Rabbits, Huntsville, AL
Brooklyn is a fun-loving Florida White girl with a lot of personality. She is incredibly social and loves to be with people. She is very curious and loves to explore. Her favorite things are cardboard boxes and toys. There is never a dull moment with this girl around. Now, Brooklyn does have a history of head tilt. She was treated very aggressively when she first started showing symptoms and recovered very well. However, this does mean that she needs to be adopted by an experienced rabbit person who can handle her carefully and watch for any signs that the symptoms may be returning. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Huntsville Friends of Rabbits at [email protected]. |
Arizona
Fred and Barney
|
Location: Tranquility Trail Animal Sancturay, Scottsdale, AZ
Fred (agouti coloring) and Barney (white/black Jersey Wooly) are two handsome boys that are a bonded pair and looking for a home together. They were part of a large scale rescue of over 100 bunnies from a Phoenix backyard. Having lived at least part of their lives outdoors with many other rabbits, Fred had to pay a price for his survival. When Fred was rescued from that backyard, it was discovered he had an old eye injury (along with some other health problems) that had become infected and as a result he had to have his left eye removed. Despite everything this poor guy has gone through, Fred has an awesome personality. He knows his name, loves food, and enjoys the company of people along with his buddy Barney. Barney is a bit younger and shyer than Fred, but he is such a sweetheart and there is no doubt that his personality will blossom once he gets into a home. It is possible Fred may have some health problems throughout his life so these two will need to find a special someone that is okay with having a special needs bunny. They are sweet, funny, and very entertaining boys that are by no means held back due to Fred's medical issues and they would love for a family to choose them! If you would like to help these little buns, please contact Tranquility Trail Animal Sanctuary at 480-406-7301 or [email protected]. |

C.C.
|
Location: Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue, San Gabriel, CA
C.C. is a sweet little Dutch boy and tri-pawed bunny. He arrived at Zooh Corner with a shattered hind leg and it was not able to be fixed. He is doing just fine now, though, and gets around very well as long as he is on carpet. He is sweet, friendly as can be and very affectionate. He has been waiting for over a year for a family of his very own. Won't you take him home? If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue at 626-576-BUNI or [email protected]. |
Dutch
|
Location: House Rabbit Society - International Headquarters, Richmond, CA
Dutch is a little senior bunny - 9 years young! He's kind of like grandpa, who likes to sit in a rocking chair on the porch and tell good stories - Dutch has many - but he still has that sparkle in his eye, that youthful spirit, and that unexpected burst of energy. You could see him napping on the couch all afternoon and then turn around and see him binkying on your kitchen floor like he's on Dance Fever. That's precious little Dutch. But, he needs a forever home. He wants to spend the rest of his golden years in the company of a wonderful family of his own. Some things about Dutch: he has a collapsed lung with a benign mass, which is inoperable but doesn't present any problems for him at this time. Also, he will need occasional molar trims, likely under anesthesia. But, Dutch is a Sunset Sanctuary bunny, meaning that his veterinary care will be covered by the House Rabbit Society! So, there's nothing to hold you back from making this precious little boy yours. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact House Rabbit Society - International Headquarters at 510-970-7575 or [email protected]. |
Harmony and Alex
|
Location: PetSave Foundation, Hawthorne, CA
Harmony and Alex are a sweet bunny pair looking for a home. They were adopted 2 years ago but were returned when the kids lost interest in them. Harmony was returned with head tilt. She has gone through treatment and is stable now, but she does get a bit disoriented and wobbly at times. So, she is looking for a patient home where she and her bunny buddy can live out their days. If you would like to help these little buns, please contact the PetSave Foundation at 310-349-0310 or [email protected]. |
Howard and Mrs. Wolowitz
|
Location: San Diego House Rabbit Society, San Diego, CA
Howard and Mrs. Wolowitz are a mother-and-son pair who came to the rescue thanks to a good Samaritan who found them being housed outdoors in poor conditions and convinced the owner to relinquish them. Howard and "Mom" are darling bunnies who love attention and want to live the "good life" as indoor family bunnies. Mom arrived at the rescue with a damaged eye that needed attention, but she is doing much better now. Howard, who had a previously sprained ankle, is doing fine too and gets around very well. They are healthy, happy and ready for their new home! If you would like to help these little buns, please contact the San Diego House Rabbit Society at 858-356-4286 or [email protected]. |
Mrs. Robinson
|
Location: SaveABunny, San Francisco, CA
Mrs. Robinson is a very pretty rex girl. She is about 8 years old and is a fairly low maintenance bun. She is active, healthy, happy and outgoing. Oh, and she just happens to be blind. But, that doesn't stop her from exploring, playing and meeting the other bunnies at the rescue. She would love a calm, consistent home where she can have lots of space to play. If you would like to help this little bunny girl, please contact SaveABunny at 415-388-2790 or via their website at http://www.saveabunny.org/contact. |
Olivia
|
Location: Bunny Bunch S.P.C.R., Chino, CA
Olivia is a two year old Flemish Giant girl. She arrived at Bunny Bunch with a spine injury that caused her to lose the use of her hind legs. But, she is a happy, outgoing, very friendly rabbit that loves attention and people. She would love a home to call her own. She does need bottom baths and requires a special setup and care, but we hope a very special person or family will be able to look past that and give her the loving second chance she deserves. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Bunny Bunch S.P.C.R. at 909-626-3946 or [email protected]. |
Phoebe
|
Location: Sacramento House Rabbit Society, Sacramento, CA
Phoebe is a special house rabbit who was lucky to arrive at the shelter while her current foster mom was visiting. Her left hind foot looked infected, so she was pulled from the shelter and taken into medical care immediately. Two of her toes had to be amputated because of infection, and the amputation probably saved her from having to lose her foot altogether. She is doing well now, though, and gets around great despite a few missing toes. She is an affectionate, friendly rabbit who loves to play and get pets. She does have a history of an ear infection (not uncommon for lops) so she will need an owner who can keep an eye on her ears. She is also a little wary of being picked up, but loves when she can come to you on her own. She's a great rabbit looking for that special home! If you would like to help this little girl, please contact the Sacramento House Rabbit Society at 916-863-9690 or [email protected]. |
Romeo
|
Location: Sacramento House Rabbit Society, Sacramento, CA
Romeo was one of 46 bunnies saved by Sacramento Animal Control in 2013. He was just a baby at the time, but grew to be one of the largest bunnies of the bunch. He became a volunteer favorite quickly and his sweet nature helped him get adopted from the shelter. But, he was returned when the adopter noticed a change in his eyes a few weeks later. Romeo was developing glaucoma in both eyes and he will eventually be blind. But, blind bunnies can still have a great quality of life- as we know Romeo will show. He is still a happy bun who loves to play and be petted and get his favorite treats. Now this perfect little house rabbit needs a home with a family that can give him space, attention, love and eye drops. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact the Sacramento House Rabbit Society at 916-863-9690 or [email protected]. |
Teddy Bear
|
Location: Sacramento House Rabbit Society, Sacramento, CA
Teddy Bear is a sweet, older bunny who has had more homes than most companion pets. He was found by a construction worker who kept him for the first few years of his life before his work changed and he had to surrender him at a pet store where we found him. After three weeks in a foster home, he was adopted to be a companion to another small rabbit for 3.5 years. Shortly after she died, the owner couldn't keep him and brought him back to his fosterer. He has a sweet, gentle disposition and he likes to be petted. He is very easy to handle and is a good patient when he has had to take medicine. He would probably like to be with another rabbit if someone is looking for an older companion for their senior bunny. His teeth have to be remodeled by the exotic veterinarian a few times a year, but otherwise he is healthy. Because he is older, he does need some special bedding as he doesn't always make it to his litter box in time. This special little guy just wants a true forever home to come along and call his own. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact the Sacramento House Rabbit Society at 916-863-9690 or [email protected]. |
Vinnie
|
Location: Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, Stockton, CA
Little Vinnie came from a very bad situation where both his physical and emotional needs had been ignored for a very long time. Thankfully, though, he is at Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary now and getting the medical care he so desperately needed. Vinnie is functionally blind. He has seen an eye specialist and it is believed that his eye condition is stable for the time being. How he's just looking for those very special people who can overlook his eyes and see him for the loving, special little bunny he is. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary at 209-465-2985 or [email protected]. |
Connecticut
Evie and Martin
|
Location: Hop A Long Hollow Rabbit Rescue, Norwalk, CT
Evie and Martin are looking for a forever home after being returned to The Hollow after 5 years. Martin is a tri-pawed bun (meaning he had one of his legs amputated) and an EC survivor. Evie is happy and healthy and looks after Martin. They would love to find a home together that can really commit to forever! If you would like to help these little buns, please contact Hop A Long Hollow Rabbit Rescue at 203-247-4661 or [email protected]. |
Lulu Belle
|
Location: 3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Wethersfield, CT
Lulu Belle is a lovable, playful girl who was found as a stray and brought into the local animal control shelter. The staff noticed she had only one ear, and their vet felt it was a genetic defect. Once in 3 Bunnies care, the rescue vet had numerous diagnostic tests done and they all came back okay, confirming that her having only one ear is a genetic defect. She doesn't mind though as she still gets along quite well. She was treated for an eye ulcer recently. Her eye did heal from it, but it sometimes gets weepy due to her having restricted tear ducts. Her new adopter will need to keep an eye on it. Lulu Belle is a wonderful bun who is looking for that special person or family (experienced in special needs) to care for her. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact 3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue at 413-427-7345 or [email protected]. |
Sammy
|
Location: Rabbit Allies of CT, Norwalk, CT
Sammy is a very special Flemish Giant mix bunny who was rescued from a school classroom, where he was kept as a class pet. Sammy is currently battling a case of e. cuniculi infection. From it, he has lost the use of his back legs. He is receiving great care from a rescue volunteer who is keeping him clean, spoiled and comfortable while he undergoes treatment. He has been bounced around much too much in his life. He is already over 7 years old, and just wants to get better so he can have a home of his own. He is an incredibly sweet, calm boy. Would you consider sponsoring him? If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Rabbit Allies of CT at 203-838-2483 or [email protected]. |

Lucy and Desi
|
Location: Red Door Animal Shelter, Chicago, IL
Lucy and Desi are a gorgeous bonded pair who are looking for that special home to take them in. Approximately 2 years old, this lovable pair will win your heart- Desi loves to explore and binky while Lucy prefers to lounge and munch on hay. As beautiful and gentle as they are, Lucy and Desi have not found their forever home. Both rabbits were sick with upper respiratory for several months after arriving at the rescue, then Desi was diagnosed with heart disease. He will need daily heart medications and regular vet visit to manage his medical disability. If you are experienced with rabbits, please consider giving these lovely buns a home. They are clean, friendly and sooooo stunning. If you would like to help these little buns, please contact Red Door Animal Shelter at 773-764-2242 or [email protected]. |
Pookie
|
Location: Red Door Animal Shelter, Chicago, IL
Pookie was rescued from a bad situation where she had too many rabbit friends and was living in unclean conditions. Due to poor nutrition and bad genetics from bad breeding practices, Pookie has a serious medical disability: heart disease. Her twice a day medications and regular ultrasounds will be an additional monthly expense. Heart disease is a manageable condition, but will require an experienced rabbit caregiver. She is a very loving rabbit to her human companions, and would love a family to look past her medical issues and give her a home. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Red Door Animal Shelter at 773-764-2242 or [email protected]. |
Wingnut
|
Location: Red Door Animal Shelter, Chicago, IL
Wingnut is a friendly and mellow young Dutch rabbit. He was confiscated from a hoarder, but he doesn't let his early life hardship get him down. He's loving the perks of life at Red Door Animal Shelter: fresh salads, stable temperature, interaction with the staff and volunteers. Wignut has an arrhythmia and a slightly enlarged heart and so does have a medical disability. He requires (inexpensive) daily medication and close monitoring of his activity. His condition is manageable though, and should lead a long, normal life. The only thing he's missing is a forever home of his own! If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Red Door Animal Shelter at 773-764-2242 or [email protected]. |
Louisiana
Misha
|
Location: Acadiana Humane Society, Sunset, LA
Misha is an adorable little rex boy. He had to have his right eye removed. He is very sweet with his humans, but can be easily spooked because of his lack of vision on his right side. He needs an understanding family who knows to approach him slowly from his good side and one who is willing to be patient with him. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Acadiana Humane Society at 337-371-5477 or [email protected]. |

Grey Boy
|
Location: Friends of Rabbits, Gaithersburg, MD
Grey Boy is a small grey bunny who had a had start to his life, facing some difficult medical problems. Among them, a benign tumor on his third eyelid that has caused problems with his eyesight. He will likely need eye drops for the rest of his life. Because of this, he will need a committed and experienced adopter. He also needs a quiet home and someone who understands that he can spook easily at times because he can't see properly. He hopes the challenges with his eye won't stand in the way of him finding a forever home. He's a sweet, affectionate boy who would love a family. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Friends of Rabbits at 703-627-7892 or [email protected]. |

Bridgette
|
Location: House Rabbit Network, Woburn, MA
Bridgette is a shy but beautiful Himalayan bun. She is learning to open up in her foster home and would love a patient home who can help her feel loved and at ease. Some time in the past, she broke a toe on her right back foot. That toe now hangs out at a weird angle and she needs a nice comfy setup and careful watching to make sure that toe does not get caught on anything. She hopes someone can look past it, though, and give her the loving home she's so longed for. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact the House Rabbit Network at 781-431-1211 or [email protected]. |

Amos
|
Location: Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary, Whittaker, MI
Amos is a big love. He will come right up to you and ask for petting. He is easy to pick up, but is a big bunny to hold. Just a sweet little guy. He came to Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary with an injured eye where he had already lost his vision. But you would never know it. He gets around just fine and is eager to find his forever home. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary at 734-461-1726 or [email protected]. |
Honey
|
Location: Wonderland Rabbit Rescue, Melvindale, MI
Honey the bunny is a 3 year old female black agouti bunny. You can't tell by the pictures, but she is an uppy-eared rabbit, not a lop or a helicopter ear. She is also blind in her right eye. She previously had an ulcer that was not treated properly in her former home and how she is blind in that eye. She is a sweet rabbit, but will need a very special home that understands to talk to her before she is approached, and that she needs to be approached from the left. She would like a home as an only bun (or where she can be kept separately from the other buns/animals) where she can play with her toys and destroy her cardboard boxes at her leisure. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Wonderland Rabbit Rescue at 313-383-5615 or [email protected]. |
Kinglsey and Leon
|
Location: Midwest Rabbit Rescue, Plymouth, MI
Kingslet and Leon lived in a classroom for a short time before coming to Midwest Rabbit Rescue. The teacher had not realized how scary a classroom was for bunnies - especially for Leon. Thankfully, the teacher quickly figured out how vulnerable the bunnies were and did the right thing by bringing them to rescue. Leon is a young bunny, but has the beginnings of cataracts in his eyes and is starting to lose his sight. Luckily, he has his best friend Kingsley to guide him along. Kingsley is a friendly little bun, and full of heart. They really take care of each other. Leon gets a little spooked if you come at him when he doesn't expect you, so the rescue volunteers talk as they approach him so he knows someone is coming. If you think you can provide the calm, gentle, loving home these boys have been waiting for, pay them a visit! If you would like to help these little boys, please contact Midwest Rabbit Rescue at 248-912-7976 or [email protected]. |
Missouri
Forest and Rocky
|
Location: Missouri House Rabbit Society, Chesterfield, MO
Forest and Rocky are a beautiful bonded pair of Holland lop brothers who are looking for a home together. They are very sweet bunnies, though a little shy. They will open up in a gentle, loving home of their own. Rocky had a previous eye injury and had to have his right eye removed. He doesn't let it slow him down though (he's the one standing up in the photo). Both boys are easy to handle and would love a home where they can roam and play. They are generally easy to care for, low maintenance, sweet bunnies who hope you can look past Rocky's missing eye and give them a home. If you would like to help these little boys, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society at 314-995-1457 or [email protected]. |
New Jersey
Moose
|
Location: Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue, Inc., Rutherford, NJ
Moose was recently rescued from a local county animal shelter. When he arrived at the rescue, the volunteers could tell that something was "off" about him so they got him to a vet for extensive blood work and x-rays. It was discovered that Moose has an autoimmune disease and an enlarged heart. While it doesn't necessarily affect his daily life and doesn't currently require any specialized care or medication, he may need that in the future. Hug-a-Bunny will be carefully monitoring his health, but hope that he can still find a home as he is an incredibly sweet, gently bunny. He loves doing bunny flops and is just an all-around doll. The family who gets him will truly be lucky! If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Hug-a-Bunny Rabbit Rescue, Inc. at [email protected]. |
New York
Arwynne
|
Location: Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group, Great Neck, NY
Arwynne is a beautiful girl who has not had an easy start to her young life. She was abandoned in a box in a park with her sibling. Her sibling could not be saved, but Arwynne is safe and now looking for a forever home to cherish her. She is a bit different from other buns. She has a wonky back leg that sticks out to the side (a splay leg she's likely had since birth). This does nothing to hamper Arwynne's delight at being rescued, though, or her enthusiasm for life. She is a total joy to be around. She is hoping to find a foster or forever home who can give her a nice, comfy place to live with lots of room to play - and plenty of love. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group at 516-510-3637 or [email protected]. |
Colleen
|
Location: Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group, Great Neck, NY
Colleen is a tremendous girl with a tremendous personality to match. She was dumped in a park, and the people at Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group were lucky enough to find her and take her in. Colleen, like most bigger bunnies, has a puppy-dog-like personality with a desire to be played with and loved all the time. She does have some issues with balance and is a bit unsteady on her feet, so does need an experienced bunny family. She is learning to adapt though, and does get around well (especially when there's food being offered). She is a sweet girl who just wants a family to love. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact the Long Island Rabbit Rescue Group at 516-510-3637 or [email protected]. |
Olivia
|
Location: Empty Cages Collective, Brooklyn, NY
Poor Olivia was left outside to die on a cold night while suffering from a spinal injury. Thankfully, Empty Cages Collective rescued her and is tending to her medical needs. Olivia's legs are almost entirely paralyzed, so she needs an adopter with experience with both rabbits and rehabilitation. Through it all though, Olivia is as sweet and cute as ever, and hoping for that forever family to come along. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Empty Cages Collective at 800-880-2684 or [email protected]. |
Orson Bunny
|
Location: NYC Metro Rabbit, New York, NY
Orson Bunny is a medium-sized black and white Dutch mix who recently lost his bunny partner. This guy has a mild case of head tilt and some (related) coordination problems; he sometimes rolls over when he grooms or scratches himself. Therefore, he will need an experienced rabbit owner and, ideally, a new bunny partner. Orson is quite active, but still rather nervous around people, so he’d do best in a quiet home with patient people. He is starting to relax more, but still needs socialization – he probably didn’t have much positive human interaction before he was rescued. He has been neutered and is currently in foster care. He would love to meet you! If you would like to help this little boy, please contact NYC Metro Rabbit at 914-337-6146 or [email protected]. |
Perty Lady
|
Location: My Hope's In You Small Animal Rescue, Poughkeepsie, NY
Perty Lady may be a tiny package, but she's the whole package! She is potty trained, loves to be pet, enjoys being held, keeps herself clean, super sweet... but, she does have a small disability. An unfortunate accident left her with a broken hind leg that, even after surgery, has not been corrected. While her foot seems to be turned out, Perty doesnt even pay it mind - she plays, flops and uses her potty box as if her leg never broken. This sweet girl is just looking for a calm, quiet home with a family to cherish her. She was adopted and returned before, and wants this next home to be forever! If you would like to help this little girl, please contact My Hope's In You Small Animal Rescue at 845-527-8033 or [email protected]. |

Philip and Quigley
|
Location: Red Barn Rabbit Rescue, Creswell, OR
Philip and Quigley are a lovable, entertaining pair who are looking for a home together. Philip was rescued from an overcrowded and unsanitary hoarding situation. Because of his rough past, Philip lost some of his eyesight and requires a careful household. He is easily frightened in the dark and is not good about avoiding people walking. Quigley gives him comfort and helps take care of him. She is a bit high energy and can be moody at times, but wouldn't hurt a fly and absolutely loves her Philip. These two are very entertaining to watch and would make a great pair for someone wanting to spoil them. They are looking for a somewhat quiet, understanding home. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Red Barn Rabbit Rescue at 541-214-0808 or [email protected]. |
Pennsylvania
Agnes
|
Location: Rabbit Wranglers, Pittsburgh, PA
Agnes is a beautiful lionhead girl. She is a sweet, affectionate bunny who loves to cuddle and be petted. She is 7 years old and has slowed down a bit because of her age. She has some arthritis in her spine and sort of walks instead of hopping. She doesn't currently need pain medications, but she may need some in the future. She also had some dental issues when she arrived at the rescue which required her incisors to be extracted. She eats well, though she needs her greens torn into small pieces. Overall, this girl still has some spunk in her and would like a forever home to live out her glory days in. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Rabbit Wranglers at 412-953-1770 or [email protected]. |
Miracle and Grey
|
Location: Rabbit Wranglers, Pittsburgh, PA
Miracle and Grey are a bonded pair who need to be adopted together. Their foster mom just loves these two and calls them "gems" and "perfect bunnies." Both have impeccable litter skills and enjoy the run of their foster mom's kitchen. Miracle has a bit of a head tilt. Her condition is stable and really doesn't hold her back. She is a curious bunny who likes to explore and investigate everywhere and everything. Her foster mom keeps her busy and has noticed that her head tilt disappears when she is learning or having fun. Grey is a little more timid and reserved. She doesn't like to be picked up and is a bit nervous when first approached, but she is working on her trust in her foster home. These two are so hoping for a very special person who can look past their differences and see what wonderful bunnies they are. If you would like to help these little girls, please contact Rabbit Wranglers at 412-953-1770 or [email protected]. |

Wisconsin
Honey Bunny
|
Location: K&R Small Animal Sanctuary, Oshkosh, WI
Honey Bunny is a very sweet and interactive lop who has found herself in need of a new home. She was a beloved member of her previous family (she was a free range bunny) before they got down on their luck and made the very difficult decision to relinquish her to the rescue. Honey Bunny broke her leg when she was just a young bun and it healed incorrectly and sticks out to the side. It doesn't currently cause her any issues, but does slow her down a bit as she has to navigate around things. She may need that leg amputated in the future; but vets have not yet felt it is necessary. Considering her difficulty in moving around, she will need a home with a larger living space. Honey Bunny is a very sweet bun and loves people- and would especially love a forever family! If you would like to help this little boy, please contact K&R Small Animal Sanctuary at [email protected]. |

Gloria
|
Location: Vancouver Rabbit Rescue and Advocacy, Vancouver, BC
Gloria is a lovely black rabbit with a valiant spirit. She was rescued from the loading dock of the Staples in Richmond along with her 7 kits. At some point, her left hind leg had been badly broken- crushed in places. It has healed so that it protrudes to the side. Gloria is a true survivor. Despite all she's been through, she doesn't let anything keep her down. She runs and hops up on things even with her wonky leg and has raised her 7 babies beautifully. Now, she is ready for a forever home to call her family. Gloria is a sweet, sweet rabbit. She is a little shy, but an easy keeper and appreciative of a gentle hand. Because of her leg, she does need a comfy house, a low entry litter box and a little help with grooming, but she hopes she can find a home who will love her just the way she is. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Vancouver Rabbit Rescue and Advocacy at 604-612-7699 or [email protected]. |

Banjo
|
Location: RSPCA South Australia at Lonsdale, Lonsdale, SA
Meet Banjo! Banjo is an extra special little bun who is looking for an extra special family to love him. Banjo was born with one of his back legs being a little smaller than the other, and it sticks out to the side just a bit. He was also born with no tail. Neither seems to get in his way though- he loves to run and play, dig holes and climb up on things. He does need a comfy home indoors with lots of room to move so his leg doesn't get caught on anything. Besides his physical differences, Banjo is the sweetest, most affectionate little bun. He loves pets and spending time with his humans. He even gets along with cats! He would love a fun, loving family to scoop him up and give him a wonderful forever home. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact the RSPCA South Australia at Lonsdale at 1 300 4 777 22. |

Jett
|
Location: Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc., Olinda, VIC
Jett was rescued from a shelter just in time after being assessed as having health and behavioral issues. He was set for euthanasia, but Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage stepped in and was determined to help give this boy some TLC and a forever home. After he arrived at the Orphanage, it was discovered that he was blind in one eye. This was likely the cause of his "behavioral issues"- he was just scared! Since settling in at the Orphanage, he is doing much, much better. He's ready for a home that understands his special needs and can be gentle and loving. If you would like to help this little boy, please contact Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc. at 1300 959 370 or 03 9751 1229 or [email protected]. |
Sasha and Ruby
|
Location: Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc., Olinda, VIC
Sasha and his partner, Ruby, were surrendered to Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage at 8 years old. Sasha developed spinal issues and within three days he became paralysed in his back legs. He loves Ruby, can still eat and drink, groom her and moves freely around his enclosure. He requires an enclosure that is suited to his condition, which includes specialized vet blankets to help prevent urine scald. The blankets allow moisture to drain away from the surface and are captured in puppy pads underneath. This keeps him nice and dry. He is on medication for pain relief and assisted care to ensure he is content and happy. He is continuously monitored by the Orphanage and their vets for his quality of life. If you think you could provide the quality care that Sasha needs, as well as a home for his girl Rudy, please contact! If you would like to help these little buns, please contact Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc. at 1300 959 370 or 03 9751 1229 or [email protected]. |
Tiffany
|
Location: Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc., Olinda, VIC
Tiffany was bought from a pet store and then returned some time later once her condition became evident. A visit to the vet soon revealed that she has a genetic condition called splay leg. She doesn't let her hold her back though- she runs and hops and binkies despite her wonky leg. She would love for a special family to give her a chance at a home. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc. at 1300 959 370 or 03 9751 1229 or [email protected]. |
Treasure
|
Location: Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc., Olinda, VIC
Treasure was bought from a pet store and soon after returned. However, upon her return, it was discovered that she was pregnant and had a splay leg. It is suspected that her leg was broken through trauma. X-rays showed that Treasure does not have a hip. Due to the trauma, her hip did not develop. She is able to run and hop around like any other bunny despite her splay leg, and now she'd love to find a forever home to binky in. If you would like to help this little girl, please contact Rabbit Run-Away Orphanage, Inc. at 1300 959 370 or 03 9751 1229 or [email protected]. |
